I was introduced to music early in my life; I began learning to play guitar and drums at age six and have been slowly continuing to learn since then. I still have not decided which I consider my main instrument and do not plan to choose any time soon.
After moving to Edmonton for school, I formed what would become my band Garden of Ash, but we were not officially under that name until a few years later. Partway through my music degree at MacEwan I recorded and mixed our first album out of our guitarists garage and it was my first experience both writing and recording a full album.
I graduated from MacEwan with my bachelor's degree in music, majoring in recording and production. At the end of that summer I left to live in Germany where I worked and learned in many different music studios. I returned half a year later with new experiences under my belt and a strong passion to begin my career as a music engineer.
I have recorded and mixed bands from many different genres including jazz, pop, rock, and death metal. I am happiest when working in the studio and plan to spend as much time as possible creating great music with great people.
